BMKMANU DG1000 single-cell microdroplet platform

Product Overview

BMKMANU DG1000 uses droplet encapsulation and barcoding to achieve high-throughput cell capture. The water-in-oil process is completed in as little as 110 s. The instrument is compact and portable, and its BMKMANU C1000 chip has independent 2 x 4 channels that can be flexibly adjusted according to sample number. The product also comes with the companion analysis software BSCMatrix.

Workflow

Capture Probe

There are approximately 880,000 probe types, with tens of millions of probes on each gel bead. Each probe consists of four parts: the universal sequencing primer R1, the cell barcode, the UMI and poly(dT)VN. Here we designed a longer cell barcode of 54 bp, which improves compatibility with long-read sequencing, especially ONT sequencing, and increases identification efficiency.

Outsourced Service vs. In-House Operation

Single-Cell Sequencing Workflow Outsourced Service In-House
    Experiment Turnaround 〜10d 1〜2d
    Analysis Turnaround 〜10d 1〜2d
Shipping Required Shipping takes 1-2 days and may reduce cell viability No shipping; dissociation on site, preserving high cell viability
