Service Overview
Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples, the most commonly used preservation format in clinical pathology, are a time capsule of invaluable biological information. However, the severe RNA degradation and protein-nucleic acid crosslinking caused by fixation have long blocked conventional technologies from accessing this wealth of information.
BMKMANU FFPE spatial transcriptomics innovatively adopts a proprietary direct poly(A) capture technology together with a patented de-crosslinking solution, precisely overcoming the key challenges of RNA degradation and protein-nucleic acid crosslinking. With high specificity and broad applicability, it offers a new approach for mining information from FFPE samples across all species.

Service Advantages
All Species, Full Capture
No probe design or synthesis needed and no species restriction; captures all mRNA
Focus on Original mRNA
Retains the specificity and comprehensiveness of polyA capture; avoids the non-specificity of random primers
Patented De-crosslinking Technology
BMKMANU's in-house FFPE de-crosslinking technology releases mRNA to the greatest extent possible
High Resolution, Accurate Cell Segmentation
BMKMANU S3000:2.5μm/per spot;Spotnumber:~414W;
resolution:3.5μm
resolution:3.5μm
Benchmark Data
To date the technology has been validated on human clinical FFPE samples including skin, bladder and oesophageal cancer, confirming its stability and technical feasibility across sample types. It will provide powerful and reliable support for in-depth analysis of the tumour microenvironment, screening of disease biomarkers and large-scale retrospective clinical studies.
